Recently I have been interested in the different ways that fashion stylists represent or convey the character of the person they are dressing. There are several different theoretical frameworks for this, from Kibbe's yin-yang combinations, through David Zyla's archetypes to the relative simplicity of Dressing Your Truth. It seems to me that they are essentially different expressions of one framework, with some of the details differing but overall basically the same idea. Which is that what you wear can reflect not only your natural physical appearance, but also the inner you, so as to present a unified image to the world and reduce the surprise factor when people find out what you're really like!

This led me to try various ways of expressing myself - expressing the hidden, inside me that people wouldn't know about if I didn't show them. And that led inevitably to the idea of coats and jackets that have the person the world sees on the outside, and the way they see themselves as the lining.
This is the first one of these - quite plain and inconspicuous but with some unusual aspects like the watered pattern and the orange fluffy pocket linings.

The lining shows what is hidden inside - a passionate tribal order, made by embroidery on fake fur.

And this one shows the embroidery better.
